The nicest features of these particular vehicles, they has better security features. All though, this can lead to certain problems if not prepared. So here are some key factors to look into.
Jumper Box
obtaining a jumper box is self efficient, the jumper boxes on most have tire inflation, light and also can charge while not in use by a single outlet at home. While using the jump box, terminals are labeled (-) Black and (+) Red. If the terminals are faded from your battery, the block fuse on your vehicle will be laying on top or your positive (+) terminal. Jumper boxes sometimes have a special feature, once connected the wrong way on your battery, this will send a chirp notice to let you know your wires are switched. Where to find such equipment? Find this at your local parts store or a local super mart in the automotive section. Please ask for help to find one.
Key FOB
Key FOB’s are powered by a single cell battery to send signals to your encrypt transmitter to unlock, lock and start your vehicle. If you are new to the vehicle, I advise your owners manual if your car only starts if you hold down the brake to start.
Other hacks for the key FOB, Some manufactures have took the incentive to place a receptacle in glove box, center console, dashboard, steering column ( Mazda) or cup holder ( ford) to place your FOB there to get your car to start.
